Jonathan Lethem books
On the advice of Tom Schmidt, I've been reading Jonathan Lethem's books. My favorite so far is Motherless Brooklyn, a sort-of-detective-novel narrated by man with Tourette's Syndrome. Gun With Occasional Music is a combination of sci-fi and hardboiled-detective - odd but good. Amnesia Moon is understated sci-fi. I recommend Motherless Brooklyn to everyone, but I'd only recommend the other two titles to people who really like reading sci fi.

I didn't know you liked sci-fi, Ruth! What other kinds of books do you like? Please keep the recommendations coming. :)

I love your dog house quilt and the flap revealing the two dogs playing! Also your birthday party pictures. Love you much, Mom.
