Hummingbird quilt for Taylor

I finally finished Taylor's Hummingbirds quilt. I'll sew on the label this weekend and will mail to her next week. It is a good feeling to finish a quilt.

This quilt uses the block pattern "Year's Favorite" from Nancy Martin's Perpetual Calendar (Dec 31). It was my Block Exchange block this year. I bought the fabric for it from the Material Mart booth in Marshall last year and bought the binding fabric from them this year. Nice bright colors! Kari Ruedisale machine-quilted it for me using variegated thread - lots of feathers and swirls.
