Dad celebrates his 83rd birthday

My dad celebrated his 83rd birthday on Sunday, December 11. Here's a photo of him opening his gifts last year with Catherine and my mom. He's thinner now than he was in this photo, because he's been on a feeding tube since April, but we're happy to report that he's doing well and is at home now. He's very happy not to be in the hospital or nursing home! I visited him twice in the spring and once in October, and I'm going there for Christmas next week. My brother Owen and his daughter Madi visited in October too.
