Protest in St. Paul

My friends Stu and Mel protested at the Republican national convention held in St. Paul a few weeks ago. Here's two photos of their experience - one of Mel and Stu with their protest group and a street scene photo that Stu took (both posted here with their permission, of course!). Enjoy the irony in Stu's "Target Free" photo.

Seeing the photo of Mel and Stu at the protest reminded me of the time many years ago that the three of us went to a Pro-Choice rally at the Michigan state capitol building. And also memories of a more recent protest when Aaron and I went to an anti-war rally at the state capitol just before Bush declared war on Iraq.

  • Great photos, so glad I didn't try to go to the children's museum, she'd have been scarred for life.

Tell Stu and Mel how much we liked Slings and Arrows and that I even got the theatre person at church hooked.
