Dora to dig at media event

Next week on April 19, there will be a groundbreaking ceremony for Lansing's unleashed dog park. Instead of dignitaries with shovels, five digging dogs will break the ground.

Dora has been selected as one of the five groundbreaking diggers. She's an excellent digger in my backyard - hope she's up to the task of digging on cue in front of an audience!

The digging dogs will be issued special hard hats and bandannas. I'll post photos next week.
