More Australia
Last night (Wed) we were invited over by Di and Roger's friend, Robin, the drama and music teacher at their school. She welcomed us to Australia with Victoria Bitter, followed by Pavlovas and Lamingtons, and then tea with Australian cookies. Catherine got to try on cricket gloves and learned how to hold the bat wearing the gloves (taught by Robin's son, Kit).
Today - Dec 27 - we visited Roger and Dianne's school - got to see the library, classrooms, and ERU (overnight units for students).
Roger, Catherine, Debbie and I returned to Ballarat Wildlife for the koala encounter - got to pet several koalas and snuggle in with five of them for a photo shoot. We'll pick up the photos later (we hope). We're on our way to Geelong now - more later!
