Happy Halloween!

We had beautiful, warm weather last evening, so I sat out on the porch to hand out candy. The dogs watched through the door and didn't bark, amazingly good for them (there was a lot of tail-wagging, however, when their friend Cubby came by with Grandma Lisa and Mom Claire).

I ran out of candy a little after 7:30pm - more than 100 trick-or-treaters. This year's most popular costume was Stormtrooper and other Star Wars costumes, followed by Disney princesses. My favorites of the night were three girls dressed as mimes, who strolled up the door chatting away. I said, "You're not supposed to talk," and they said in unison, "We're mimes suffering from logorrhea!" Gave me a good laugh. :)
