Roger's Healing Quilt
Thank you to everyone who wrote a message on Roger's healing quilt. Many of you asked to see a photo of the finished quilt. Below are photos of the quilt top, the backing, and close-ups of each the blocks (in alphabetical order).
flamingos on the back of the quilt
Close-ups of the blocks in the quilt: Beatles
Bookshelf panel (we told Marian the Librarian that this bookshelf fabric didn't really match the rest of the quilt, but she insisted we include it - apparently she spent a lot of time peeling it off the wall in Roger and June's house in Alpena)
High heels (Marian the Librarian's block)

This is an incredible quilt, Ruth. I am honored to have been part of it. Every square is a prayer for Roger and June.

Thank you so much Ruth. I received a healing quilt a few years ago and was really touched by the effort. I know what it will mean to Roger.

I don't know the significance of all the fabrics in the blocks, but I know it can't help but be encouraging and healing. It's a wonderful thing to make for a friend, Ruth.
