Catching up on exchange blocks

Made a little more progress on sewing exchange blocks for Monday's potluck.

Here's Cindy's house block finished, plus a fused tree block to match. Cindy is making this house quilt to donate to a Habitat for Humanity family.

Below is Lisa's block for Claire's Lavender Dreams quilt. Fun and easy to piece with a nice center square to showcase a large focus print. I would like to make a quilt in this pattern someday - maybe with some of my many bird prints in the block centers.

Below is Dorothy's rose block. All I can say is (1) yay, it is done, and (2) pray to God I never have to sew a DeLoa Jones rose block again. Everything that could go wrong with cutting and piecing did. Not fun for me at all.
