More quilts

I finished my Koi quilt. It will be in the Quilts True Art: Women and the World II art exhibit at the Michigan Women's Historical Center, March-June this year.

Here's a photo of the wedding quilt that Phyllis and I made for Dusty and Tim in December. The quilt pattern is Bento Box. We used black and white fabric - several music fabrics and some newspaper prints - and also pieces of burgundy velvet and satin from Dusty's wedding dress fabrics. The dog on the quilt is Bailey, Phyllis's elderly rescue poodle. We chose the color scheme because Dusty and Tim have two dogs - one white and one black-and-white - and also because Tim works for the newspaper and both enjoy music.
