Eastminster Pentecost Quilt

I've been working on piecing the quilt top for the Eastminster Church 50th anniversary quilt. The background design is based on the stained glass windows in the church sanctuary - see photo above. I hope to have the windows finished before I go to Minnesota for Christmas. In January, I'm holding another quilting bee for members of the church to help mark and cut the red and white fabrics for the flame and dove that will be appliqued over the windows background.
