La Vie en Rose
Tish, Lisa and I went to see the Edith Piaf movie, "La Vie en Rose," on Friday. What a wonderful movie -- easy to see why the actress playing Edith won Best Actress at the Oscars this year! The East Lansing Film society showed it at Hannah Community Center. I was glad that we got to see it on a big screen.
I came home from the movie Friday night to find that Dora had destroyed another book - this time one from the bookshelf in the living room, "Quebec Nationale." Apparently she's done destroying the Interpreter's Bible series and has moved on to Canadian history. With all the snow and cold weather last week, I hadn't walked the dogs last week, so that was probably part of it. I took them to the dog park on Saturday, and both of them ran and ran - very happy to be there, even though we didn't see any of our friends.
Tish and I went to the Red Cedar Grill on Saturday with Charley and Margaret to celebrate Tish's retirement. It is always so good to get together with them.
