Today was Pentecost Sunday, and the quilt we made last year was displayed at Eastminster Church for the special Pentecost Jazz Service.

I was happy to see the quilt, but it was also a sad day for me because Dad died last year on Pentecost Sunday (last year it was on May 27 over Memorial Day weekend). My good friend Debra - who also lost her father recently - came to the service with me today so that I wouldn't have to go alone. Thanks Debra! Having good friends is the best comfort there is!

How nice to see the quilt in place --- very effective. I'm glad Debra came with you to share the meaning of the day.
