Spring Break

Mom, Debbie, Catherine, and their dog Luci are visiting this weekend for spring break. We had a full day on Saturday.

Catherine, Debbie and I went to Vetavisit at MSU and met up with Linda, Alexander and Allison. They got to milk a cow, listen to a sheep's heartbeat through a stethoscope, see a horse on a treadmill, and much more. After seeing the rumen fistula cow, Catherine may have decided NOT to be a vet. [A fun fact, Alexander's and Allison's great-grandfather invented the technique at MSU many decades ago.] I think that Linda's blog will have some photos of the kids with the cows. Thanks to Lisa for telling me about Vetavisit!

We had lunch with Mom, and then Debbie, Catherine and I took Luci to Petco for St. Pugtrick's Day contest. Luci entered the contest as a pug imposter. Luci didn't win anything in the contest, but we did win the big prize in the auction - a dog daybed. Channel 6 News was there, so Mom and I stayed up until after the basketball game to watch the late Channel 6 News. St Pugtrick's was the very last story, and Debbie and I showed up in the background shots (our two seconds of fame).

After Petco, Debbie and I took the three dogs to the dog park for one trip around the lake. Luci wasn't as wild as she'd been during her first trip on Friday (when she was crazed after two days traveling in the car).

At night, Mom, Debbie, Catherine, Carol, and I met up with Linda, Alexander, and Ashley at ELHS to see the Music Man. We had the best seats in the house - Linda must have connections! - front row and center. It was lots of fun. Alexander and Ashley go home to Ohio tomorrow, so Catherine won't see them again for awhile (hope it is soon, though, since they had fun together).

Today Mom and I are going to church. No big events planned for today.
