More film festival

Last night Cindy and I went to the East Lansing Film Festival. We saw the Shorts program and Paprika. Most of the shorts were good - especially Driftwood and Glimpse, but neither of us like Droomtijd (sp?). The sound wasn't working in our theater at first, so they delayed letting us in. While we were waiting, a film student at the door asked us if we were filmmakers, and Cindy told him, no, we were actresses. :)

Paprika was a Japanese anime film. Cindy was brave and tried it out but found that she doesn't care for Japanese anime (kind of like from Pooh when Tigger discovered "Tiggers don't like haycorns."). I liked Paprika a lot, but anime is not for everyone!

Today I'm balancing ELFF with the LAP quilt show (there's a group of quilters from Japan who will be there - they've been doing a joint project with Linda Kuhlman and some others - see Linda's blog for photos).
