Friends and Bells!!!!!
I am so happy that so many of my friends came to hear me play in the bell choir this morning! Tish, Lisa, Daisy, Linda, Carol Schon, and Carol Seamon all showed up to hear the bells and see the quilt. Thanks all of you - I can't begin to tell you how much it meant to me to have you there!
Linda brought her camera and (I hope) will post some photos on her blog. There was a nice one of my six friends sitting in the pew together - hope that one turned out.
Although all did not go swimmingly (like us playing the Doxology BEFORE the offering - oops), it was still a lot of fun. It was music appreciation Sunday, with the children's and adult choirs singing too, and there was a little recognition for the three choirs.

I haven't been able to read your blog for a few days --- missed quite a few entries. Loved the pictures of Catherine --- can only imagine how proud of her you all are. As for the bell choir --- I'm sure you are the only one that was aware of any miscues(sp?). I thoroughly enjoyed the music --- bells are so clear! Also loved seeing the quilt hanging --- it definitely adds to the beauty of the liturgy!
