Minnesota Music Quilt is Finished!

Last night I finished hand-sewing the binding on Minnesota Music. The block pattern is the traditional Goose in the Pond. This was my block exchange block in 2005. I pieced the top this winter, and Kari Ruedisale machine-quilted it for me. The fabrics in the top are music fabrics and shirtings. The backing is loon fabric from the state birds fabric line.

I made this quilt as a gift for my cousins Jane and Joel. I'm sewing on the label tonight and will mail to them tomorrow or Monday. I think they'll like it!
