Memorial Weekend

It is Memorial Day weekend and also one year since my Dad died. Mom, Debbie, and Catherine went to Fort Snelling this weekend to visit Dad's, Buddy's and Doloris's graves. Last year when I came back from Dad's funeral, I was so happy to see that my friends had hung two beautiful baskets of flowers on my front porch. I thought the flowers last year were a touching memorial for Dad, so today after church I bought these two hanging baskets in memory of him this year.

As you can see, I also put up the flag for Memorial Day - perhaps someday I'll have to get a flagpost. :) Also, not sure how well they show up in the photo, but Sadie and Dora are looking out of the front door.
