July Block Exchange (updated)

We had close to a full house last Monday for Block Exchange - only a couple people couldn't make it. Here's a photo of Terry's blocks laid out. I really like the way her quilt looks woven. This quilt is for Terry's son, John, who is a runner at Williamston High School. Terry's going to add runner quotations and photos in the muslin strips and squares.

For photos of other quilters' blocks laid out, see Linda's blog. I especially like Bonnie's block this year, and I've been playing around with it on my own in Sadie/Dora colors. I'll post a photo later Below is a photo of the two blocks I've made so far - with Sadie posing to show the color match. I'm thinking about using this block for my Block Exchange next year (unless - like Phyllis once did - I get crazed and make all the blocks before January - it could happen!).
