Jan Aronson's block

I received another block in the mail today for my St. Francis quilt. This one is from Jan Aronson. She made me a beautiful paper-pieced mariner's compass star. It is extra-special because it is from a Pepper Cory pattern. Her block depicts, "out of darkness, light."

Jan writes, "Stars & star designs have always been a favorite of mine, and I like to paper-piece. Here is my square, thanks to a Pepper Cory design from a workshop she taught in Venice, FL, a few years ago."
