Guild quilt show
Our Capitol City Quilt Guild show is coming up soon - March 31-April 1. Last night at Guild, I handed in my "commit to hang" forms. I've committed to seven quilts, only four of which are actually completed.
At least the three unfinished quilts are quilted, however, thanks mostly to Kari Ruedisale who brought me two quilts last night that she machine-quilted for me. One is my Dragonfly Fiesta (a Block Exchange quilt from a couple years ago) and the Hawks quilt that I'm making for Scott Schmeck. I've got four weeks now to bind the three quilts and add labels and sleeves. Even with that much time to sew, odds are I'll be finishing them the night before!
The other five quilts I'll have in the show are Christmas Penguins, Leaf Sampler, Koi, Jack-in-the-Pulpit, and my Journal quilt (one of the unfinished ones).
