Auntie Doloris 1920-2007
I am so sad to write that my Auntie Doloris died yesterday at age 86. I've been thinking about Auntie Doloris all day today and remembering happy times with her - especially Christmases in Atwater, Minnesota, and summers at Diamond Lake.
A couple years ago, my Mom, Doloris, and I drove out to Atwater to do "spring cleaning" on Gramma's and Grampa's graves. We cleaned up the gravestones, watered the flowers, and then the three of us went to a restaurant in Atwater (it used to be the "Big A" Cafe - not sure of the name today). It was such a nice time for the three of us together that time - a memory I'm going to hold onto as we all grieve for losing a wonderful member of our family.
