Fun in Williamston
Had a great day in Williamston with Terry and the quilters. First, Daisy, Terry, Erin and I saw John Lepard in "This Wonderful Life" at the Williamston Theatre. What a fun play!
On the way to Terry's house, we stopped by the park to see the chainsaw sculptures carved from the ash trees that had died from the emerald ash borer. Here are a few of my favorites.

Then soup dinner at Terry's. She made three homemade soups - potato leek, tomato tarragon, and whitefish - and John baked a no-knead bread in a dutch oven. Delicious meal, plus a "to die for" marsala trifle. I'm afraid I've gained back five pounds.
We did some sewing too. I finished the binding on the Beatles quilt for Cheryl at work (her belated housewarming gift). Also, Carol and Linda and the rest of the quilters helped me with ideas for a unique overlapping set for my St. Francis quilt. What a great day! Thanks Terry!
