Block Exchange 2010
Debra's block (image not available). Do a bird block any size. Applique welcome! Also bird fabric. See instruction sheet for ideas.
Bonnie's block - make these blocks LIGHT this year (we did this block for her a couple years ago in darker colors).
My block - same pattern as Bonnie's but with different colors. The center and corner squares can be any multicolor fabric (no white). See the instruction sheet for the other four colors.
Lisa's block. If your center image has an obvious top and bottom, be sure that the dark lavender is in the lower left corner (see the diagram in the instruction sheet - the photo below shows the block on its side - oops).
Louise's block. She's provided the tiny triangles but measure them first - some haven't been cut to size.
Terry's block - make a 12" finished (12 1/2" unfinished) Halloween block using the antique card print provided.
Daisy's block - use the leaf fabric provided for the diagonal squares.
Beth's blocks - use colors from the sheet she handed out.
Georgia's block - she cut up her husband's shirts for the packets (don't tell him). The sticker on the outside of your bag tells you what color to make your points. Use your own black fabric.
Carol's block - make it scrappy!
Jan's Christmas package block - too fun! Be sure your three fabrics (wrapping paper, ribbon, and bow) are contrasting.
Dorothy's block. Use four different red fabrics (use two of the same reds to make each of the "L's").
Eileen's block. Use scraps (she'd like the other triangle if you cut your triangle from a square - thanks!).
Cindy's block. Make a house block from the fabrics she's provided (add your own orange and yellow for door and windows). You can make a tree too (use realistic colors if you make a tree).
Linda's block. Use only batiks - three of your own and the background fabric she's provided.
Phyllis's block. Use colors that match the swatches she provided (don't use the swatches - she wants them back).
Roxie's block. Make two - one with a black border and one with a white border.
Think we'll get them all sewn by September? :) Stay tuned!

Thanks so much, Ruth; it helps me so much to see the models. Can't wait to get started. Some great ideas here.

I can hardly believe it's our twentieth year --- and, haven't our skills improved over these years! Thanks for hosting and the pictures!
