Jan G's Bike Trip to California
Our quilter friend Jan is going to take four months to ride her bike from Jacksonville, Florida (after dipping her back wheel in the Atlantic Ocean) to California, ending at the Pacific Ocean. Sea to Shining Sea!! I've added her bike journal to my side bar so that friends and family can watch her progress. I'm especially interested in seeing if Herman the Road Possum stays clean for the whole trip. :)
She's going to leave a couple days after the January Block Exchange (quilters have priorities!) and will be on the road through May 2010. On stops at night, she will be working on piecing a Road to California quilt - only fitting!
Yay, Jan - you go girl! You are an inspiration to us all!

Jan's trip is beyond my imagination --- I look forward to reading her journal --- and hope the weather warms up a bit --- even in the deep South!
