More Edinburgh
Yesterday we walked around Edinburgh. We went to the cafe, The Elephant, where J.K. Rowling wrote some of Harry Potter. We toured St. Giles, the Mother Kirk of Presbyterianism, complete with statue of John Knox and beautiful stained glass. We went to Greyfriars Kirk cemetery to see Greyfriars Bobby's statue and grave.
We ate in a pub, The Conan Doyle - again great food. I had vegetarian bangers and mash and Tish had Welsh rarebit. We both had IPA Caffreys pints. After we went to the bar in our hotel for single malt Scotch.
Our hotel room is enormous - 3 twin beds, one double, and three more trundle beds under the twins - 20' ceilings.
Linda - no fabric yet - we're too busy in pubs and sightseeing! Debbie - tell Mom thanks for the London theater tickets. Tell her that Peter Bowles from 'To the Manor Born' was in the play too.
We're going to do the castles today and go to hear traditional Scottish music tonight if we can get tickets.

Sounds like you are having too much fun enjoying the countries and sights to even think about fabric. Enjoy some more....
