Another sunny day in London

We took the tube to London this morning to Leicester Square and walked to Trafalgar. We spent the morning at the National Gallery - mostly the Expressionists galleries, although we also found the DaVinci 'Virgin of the Rocks' (London's version of the Madonna of the Rocks from the Louvre in the DaVinci Code movie). We've had more fun visiting DaVinci Code movie landmarks than we did actually watching the movie!

It was sunny and perfect weather in London, so we took a boat ride down the Thames from Westminster Abbey to the Tower of London. We spent the afternoon at the Tower of London.

We're now back at Jan's and will soon head out for a shopping trip to Marks & Spencers. Tomorrow we're planning to go back to London one more time to see Buckingham Palace and the changing of the guard and other sightseeing.
